Venturi wet dust collector

Description

The Venturi wet dust collector is a highly efficient dust removal equipment, which is mainly used to treat dust-laden gas, and achieves dust removal effect through close contact between water mist and dust-laden gas. Its core component is the Venturi tube, which consists of a contraction tube, a throat tube and an expansion tube. After the dust-laden gas enters the dust collector, at the throat of the Venturi tube, water mist is sprayed in and mixed with the high-speed flowing flue gas to form fine water droplets. These water droplets collide with the dust particles in the flue gas, and due to inertia, the dust particles adhere to the water droplets to form larger gray water droplets.
Working principle
The working principle of the Venturi wet dust collector is based on the Venturi effect. When the dust-laden gas passes through the contraction section of the Venturi tube, the flow rate increases and the pressure decreases. At the throat, water mist is sprayed in and mixed with the high-speed flowing flue gas to form fine water droplets. These water droplets collide and condense with the dust particles in the flue gas to form larger gray water droplets. Subsequently, the gas gradually diffuses in the expansion section, the speed slows down, and the pressure increases, further promoting the sedimentation of ash droplets. Finally, the residual water mist and small particles are removed by the demister, and the purified gas is discharged from the outlet.
Structural composition
The Venturi wet dust collector is mainly composed of the following parts:
