IC anaerobic reactor
Description
Product Overview
The IC reactor is a new type of anaerobic reactor after UASB and EGSB. The wastewater to be treated is pumped into the reactor from the bottom of the reactor using an efficient water distribution system and mixed with the anaerobic granular sludge in the reactor. The IC anaerobic reactor is composed of two UASB reactors stacked in series. Its height can reach 16-25m, and the height-to-diameter ratio is generally 4-8. It is mainly composed of 5 parts: water distribution area, first reaction chamber, second reaction chamber, internal circulation system and water outlet area, among which the internal circulation system is the core structure of the IC process.
Structure and working principle of IC anaerobic reactor
The full name of IC anaerobic reactor is internal circulation anaerobic reactor. Its basic structure from bottom to top includes:
1. Sludge storage area: used to store anaerobic sludge, which is the main microbial carrier of anaerobic reaction.
2. Upper reaction area: This is the main area for anaerobic reaction. There are multiple layers of vertical partitions inside to form several winding flow channels.
3. Internal circulation system: mainly includes pumps and pipes, which are used to extract sludge from the bottom storage area and pump it to the top reaction area.
Working principle of IC anaerobic reactor:
1. After adjustment, the wastewater enters the mixing zone at the bottom of the reactor and is fully mixed and contacted with the internal circulating sludge.
2. The mixed liquid undergoes anaerobic reaction in the winding channel, and the organic matter is degraded to produce biogas.
3. The mixed liquid after the reaction flows into the lower sedimentation zone for solid-liquid separation.
4. The precipitated sludge is pumped to the top reaction zone by the internal circulation pump, mixed with the new wastewater and then enters the reaction zone.
5. The biogas generated after the reaction is collected and discharged from the top, and the treated water flows out from the top of the reactor.
The internal circulation system can greatly increase the sludge concentration in the reaction zone and enhance the reaction treatment intensity. The winding channel can also increase the hydraulic retention time, and the two together improve the load and treatment efficiency of the IC anaerobic reactor.
